MoonHouse and Open Space are now accepting submissions to their new podcast, “Written by Kids,” where professional actors/singers perform songs, poems, and stories written by kids. If your child is 5 – 15 years old, send us their writing now by using the form below. (There are no fees whatsoever. In fact, if we put your child’s writing on the pod, we’ll pay $25.
The following are suggested, but not necessary, prompts:
- An Unlikely Love Story
- Black Lives Matter
- When I Grow Up
- Silly Things, And Things That Don’t Make Sense To Me
- Grown-ups Think This Is Good But It’s Actually Bad (or vice versa)
- Winter Holidays
You may submit any type of writing, including but not limited to a story, poem, song, play, or monologue.
There is no limit to how many pieces you may submit.
For the best chance of your child’s writing being heard on the pod this year, please submit by Wednesday, September 30. However, we accept submissions year round for production in the future.
